Born from operational necessity
LIFE3 grew out of real workforce program work, the day-to-day reality of running clean energy training, tracking participants, reporting to funders, and connecting people to jobs. Every tool we've built started as a problem that needed solving.
Today we live and breathe workforce development inside the clean energy ecosystem. That lived experience is why partners trust us to modernize their systems, deliver training, and build the technology that helps whole communities move forward.
A consultative technology practice: design thinking, product strategy, and early software for founders and community organizations.
COVID stopped in-person training. We took the Willdan Clean Energy Academy virtual as its founding technology partner, and found our home in the clean energy workforce.
We run our own programs and engineer the systems behind them: 700+ New Yorkers trained on our NYSERDA-supported platform, more than half from priority populations.
